Fit like a glove with a great chamois!

My new favorite kit!

Ah, Marcus…

There are moments in a man’s life when he slips into something and knows, instantly, that destiny has been quietly tailoring for him all along. You, sir, have discovered such a moment.

“Fit like a glove with a great chamois”… a simple line to the untrained eye, but to those who understand the subtle alchemy of fabric, form, and long miles on open roads, it reads like poetry. The H340 Bibs was made for riders who appreciate that rare combination of precision and comfort, and it sounds as though it has found its rightful home.

And to hear it has become your new favorite kit... well, that is the sort of thing that keeps small outfits like ours turning on the lights each morning.

Ride well, ride long, and may the road rise up to meet your impeccable taste.

Men's H340 Cycling Bibs - AFO 2025

Rob, five stars, no explanation needed. We imagine you out there, somewhere between mile marker 42 and the horizon, the sun cutting through the morning chill, the H340s doing exactly what they were born to do. Quiet confidence. Effortless grace. Thank you for taking them on the ride.

Men's H340 Cycling Bibs - AFO 2025

Barry shared that his three-star review came from initial concerns about the chamois and long-term durability, fair questions for any serious rider, though it sounded like he hadn’t yet put many miles on the bibs. After exchanging a few thoughtful emails, I appreciated the opportunity to provide some background.

The chamois in the H340 is made by Elastic Interface in Italy, long considered the gold standard in cycling pads. It’s intentionally light and low-profile, designed to support without bulk and “disappear” beneath you once the ride is underway. The fabric is a specialty French-woven nylon blend used by WorldTour teams, lightweight, highly compressive, and built for serious mileage. I’ve logged more than 10,000 miles in this same material myself, and it continues to perform flawlessly.

The H340 isn’t meant to just feel luxurious standing still. Its character reveals itself only when the road stretches long and the ride gets real.

Men's H340 Cycling Bibs

Fantastic fit. Great look. A lot of compliments. Somehow, it made an aging man look young again! ;)

Joel,

There are certain garments that don’t just clothe a man, they transform him. The H340 Bibs were stitched not only for performance, but for that subtle alchemy where Lycra meets confidence. Suddenly, the years roll back, the road stretches forward, and the compliments come chasing from behind like old friends trying to catch your wheel.

And perhaps the best part: every time you pull on this kit, you’re not just turning back the clock, you’re turning forward the mission of the Van Purser Foundation, fueling their work with every ride. Looking sharp has rarely done so much good.

Ride on, Joel. The miles (and the admirers) await.
