What Matters Most
I've spent more than forty years running, riding, and racing. Along the way I've worn apparel from many of the sport's best brands and learned what separates gear you tolerate from gear you reach for again and again.
Reãl was built around a simple idea: use exceptional materials, focus on the details that matter, and create apparel designed for years of training rather than a single season.
Materials Matter
For most apparel brands, fabric is just a specification on a product page. For us, it's where every product begins.
We source fabrics from leading mills in Italy and France because they consistently produce materials that feel better, perform better, and last longer. The difference isn't always obvious in the first mile, but it becomes clear after months and years of training.
The right fabric disappears when you're moving. It manages moisture, regulates temperature, stretches where it should, and holds its shape over time. It's one of the most important decisions we make, and one of the reasons athletes continue reaching for the same pieces year after year.
Built from the Inside Out
Cyclists spend countless hours in contact with a single piece of equipment: the saddle.
That's why we use chamois from Elastic Interface, an industry leader trusted by many of the world's most respected cycling brands.
Comfort on a bike isn't determined by a single ride. It's measured in the third hour of a long training day, during a century ride, or after a full season of use. We believe that if you're going to invest your time in the sport, your equipment should support that commitment.
The foundation of every great ride starts where it matters most.
Thoughtful Details
The longer you spend in endurance sports, the more you realize that the little things aren't little.
A pocket that's easy to reach. A zipper that works with one hand. Reflective details when the sun hasn't quite come up. A fit that stays comfortable hour after hour.
These aren't features added for a marketing brochure. They're decisions shaped by decades of running, riding, and racing.
What matters most becomes obvious after enough miles.
Built for the Long Haul
Endurance sport has been a part of my life for more than forty years. What began as a personal pursuit eventually became something I could share with my wife and children.
The races, the training, and the finish lines have always mattered. But over time I've learned they're not the most important part.
The people are.
Reãl exists because of a lifelong love for endurance sport. It continues because of the community that surrounds it.
